There is this idiot on Dave’s ESL that is selling an iPod and he says that he won’t sell to Americans so I posted a nice little message to him.  Since my message there has been a backlash of messages.

Here’s the thread:

I have an older iPod (4th gen). It’s 60gb, in good shape, battery life is still high. Asking 225,000 won.

**I will not sell it to americans.

pics/accesories/scratches?

ipod photo or no color?

ColoUr yes, photo no.

No pics, but it looks like any iPod. Just the basic headphones, cable and iTunes CD. No scratches. It has been cared for, but isn’t brand new.

This is my post
Yeah what’s up with the anti-americanism?

Is there a special test you’re going to give to the buyer like sing the Canadian anthem or give them a list of words they have to pronounce like coffee, chocolate, fish and chips, Guinness, and so on.

Now what about half-Americans like those who were adopted by Americans. Technically they were forced to be Americans. And what about those that have renounced their Americanism and are in Korea in protest?

Well good luck with campaign against Americans. Maybe you should gather them all up and tell them they are going to a "jimjilbang" when in actuality they’re going to a really, really hot room that’ll leave their skin an ashen hue.

Glad to learn that there are closed minded idiots travelling the world. How can you hate on millions of people just because they’re from the same country? You stereotyping, racist bastards make me sick.
p.s. I am Canadian!
