I love Persimmons. Today, after I go check out another restaurant, I’m going to spend a quiet evening making pie crusts and making pies. I’m thinking Persimmon and Apple. I want to add some sugared ginger to the Persimmon, because I feel persimmons have a very subtle flavor that needs to be highlighted. I wonder if Persimmon and Blueberry would work together? Hmmmm….Let’s see what I can do. I figure that I can flavor the pie with some cinnamon and nutmeg. And what about lemon zest? This should be a fun evening.
Oh! I forgot, Strawberries are back…Maybe I should make a strawberry pie.
Decisions, decisions…Damn, Pushing Daisies show…I’m now fixated with pies.
