Oct. 31: Halloween Party at Kabinett. Live music from Bad Moon Band, dancing, scary games, and the best costume contest with great prizes! To Oct. 5: Grand Hyatt Seoul. The Japanese restaurant Akasaka presents pine mushroom dishes. These seasonal pine mushrooms are 100 percent natural, harvested from the wild. Dishes include sautéed pine mushroom with live abalone, mushroom sukiyaki, mushroom tempura, and mushroom porridge. A seven-course set menu is available for dinner. A la Carte items are around 38,000 won and the dinner set is 220,000 won, exclusive of tax and service charge.

Oct. 15: Seoul International Women’s Association Event. Coffee Morning at Sofitel Ambassador Hotel. Guest Speaker Dae Bong Sunim, an American Buddhist. He has been the Abbot of Zen Centers in Paris, France and Berkeley and Cambridge in America. He has practiced and taught in America, Europe and Asia and since 1999 has been the resident Zen Master of Gye Ryong San International Zen Center- MuSang Sa in Korea. He will be talking about “Zen in daily life, Look into myself.” 9.30 ~ 11.30am
