Over by the G’OAL office in Hongdae is a new waffle caffe. They are the thick crusty yeasty Belgium style waffles. They aren’t half bad. The first ones we had weren’t cooked all the way through, but the cafe replaced it right away with a new one.
These waffles have crunch and body and with the fruit and ice cream topping, they taste great. The waffles aren’t priced too badly either. One waffle with fruit and ice cream only costs 8,500 won. They are on the corner from Mamma Pippi and down the alley and across the street from the luxury noraebang in Hongdae.
