I am going home to America from June 5th-26. So…I will try to upload stuff while I’m gone. I’ll try, but I have lots of food to eat and many people to meet.

I’ll be in Seattle from June 5th-10. I’m planning on making a day trip to Portland on the 6th or 7th. And then Philadelphia from June 11-15th. I’m planning a day trip to NYC possibly on the 14th.

Then I’ll head to Florida to spend time with my parents before flying out to Vegas for a couple of days before I head on bad.

If anyone has any recommendations of places I should go eat at, please let me know. If you are interested in meeting up, then just send me an e-mail!

There's a thing that people in Seattle Tacoma area call "teriyaki". I think it started with all the Korean around military bases in Tacoma. It's cheap japanese food like teriyaki, yakisoba, and bulgogi and garbi almost always run by Koreans, somewhat similar to what you might get in Hawaii. My fave was a teriyaki joint in Woodinville, but not sure if it's still around. Mebe google or some locals can point you to the best examples of teriyaki

    There's this in Portland. http://koifusionpdx.com/

If you can make it down to SF, I can put you up for couple of nights and take you to eat bahn mi, Afghan burrito, Chez Panisse, Chicken Pho, BBQ, and the best naan.

I'm sure you'll have NYC covered, but one of my fave things in NYC is the Souper matzo Soup at Sarge's Deli with a huge Kreplach, a dumpling with beef paste filling that I think rivals the best dumplings of the world.

Matt, Thanks! If I can make a trip down to San Fran I'll let you know. I'm looking into taking a train or bus there now. Thanks!

Apparently that Teriyaki place is also coming to the strip between Gyeongridan and Noksapyeong! I'll be definitely checking that out when it opens.
