A Cup of Joe: La Colombe Coffee is awesome

La Colombe Corsica
Growing up in Delaware, I had my first real coffee at Brew Ha Ha! at Branmar Plaza. I would save up my allowance so I could get bitter shots of espresso that would make me so hyped up that I would be fidgety to the point of nausea.

Good Times.

The coffee at Brew Ha Ha was La Colombe Coffee. Last year, I had a chance to meet the owner and head roaster of the brand on his trip to Seoul. I found out that he was distributing the coffee at a couple restaurants and cafes in Seoul. When our sponsor, Suji's Restaurant, was in search of new coffee- I suggested they use La Colombe. Now, I don't know if that's the reason why they decided to go with the brand, but I am so glad they did.

La Colombe Coffee has a richness that other coffees don't have. When it is poured as a shot, it has a rich, crema that reminds me of my youth as I put spoon after spoon of sugar to mask the taste.
