Uzbek Watermelon

I spotted these odd looking melons at Samarkand in Seoul ( over by Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station exit 5). They look like cantaloupe but are the size of watermelon. I didn't have a chance to try them because I was short on time. Has anyone tried them?

To the left are some Russian yogurt biscuits that taste like scones. They were great with tea.
