Distinguishing the Mask Materials! Meltblown from Spunbel and Spunbond M...

Know your textile materials. I could save you millions of dollars. So these days I get many questions about the different materials used in face masks. I am a distributor Meltblown, spun bond and spunbel material and many buyers have no idea the differences between them. The problem is that Melt Blown Material can cost from 23-70 USD per kilo. Many are paying a premium for SMS (Spunbond, Meltblown, Spunbond Material) or a Spunbel when they are told it is Melt Blown. Real Meltblown looks like thin fabric that has been blown in different directions. It is extremely light and strong, water resistant and resists up to 99% of bacteria and particles.
