IRIS the Korean Drama is my Newest Timesuck


It's so bibimbap.

And when I say that, I mean that it's a mix of everything. It's an action/ romance/ buddy/ etc. It's Korea's most ambitious TV project and it is awesome.

Korean dramas are fast. In episode they might have 3 different story lines, 2 shootouts, a car chase, a romantic interlude, and a buddy meet up. It's seriously an emotional rollercoaster.

Now this drama is like super bibimbap.

Sure, there are elements of 24, CSI, and Shiri (The first blockbuster Korean Movie), but the pacing of the movie and the romantic elements make it uniquely Korean.

Just in case you were wondering, one bottle of Soju contains 540 calories. That's like 4 beers. So to put it in perspective, you would need to walk about two hours to exercise it off.
