Send a Chocolate Letter to Someone You Love from the Grand Kitchen and Deli Bonbons at the Grand InterContinental Seoul. Write a letter on chocolate with your own personalized message. Come prepared with the message you want to send and our chef will write it for you in either black or white chocolate. With three different styles to choose from, this is truly a chocolate gift like no other. Your order will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. Love is like a box of Chocolates. The Grand InterContinental Seoul’s executive pastry chef Martin Chiffers has created boxes made of 100% chocolate and pink sugar. Contained within each box is a selection of chocolates including wild strawberries, ginseng, mulbery, raspberry rose petal, champagne bubbles and earl grey. February 14
Wine flight at Kabbinett in Itaewon. Kabbinett will be celebrating Valentine’s day with a selection of wines and food while couples will be serenaded by live music of the “Soul Lounge Trio” The set menu includes a glass of top quality, “Edition Baum”-German Riesling, a wine flight of 9 different red wines, an entree or cheese platter, and a glass of sparkling Lambrusco with a “White Wine Chocolate Mousse” for dessert. 6 pm-10 pm; music from 8:30pm. Table 34 on the 34th floor located in the Grand InterContinental Seoul offers an elegant five-course dinner menu featuring truffles, foie gras, and a pink champagne parfait. Candlelight dinner at Chef Meili in Itaewon. The 3 course dinner starts with a hot smoked salmon on a potato crust topped with avocado horseradish cream. The entree is Chateaubriand- a double beef tenderloin- with boletto mushroom glace deviande sauce and accompanied with gnocchi and glazed red beets. Gastronomic Feast at Toque Diner in Hannam-dong. Chef Jane Chang offers a special 6 course meal Valentine's Day Dinner which has a theme of chocolate and strawberries. Start off with “Fresh Oysters and Seared Scallop with White Chocolate Champagne Sabayon, Roasted Red Pepper-Strawberry Soup with Strawberry Chips, and Beet and Strawberry Salad with Chocolate Dressing.” The entrees are, “Balsamic-Chocolate marinated Duck with Balsamic-Strawberry Sauce and Ribeye Steak with Red Wine-Chocolate Sauce and Seared Strawberries.” And finish your culinary journey with a “Chocolate Lava Cake with Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries.” W40,000 per person(VAT included). 794-3834.

Seoul Wine Club Event at Kabbinett in Itaewon. Join Kabbinett for a fun and educational event at Wine Quiz Night. Make new friends, learn about wines, and enjoy great wines and food- not to mention great prizes for the winners. February 22
Masque party at Zelen in Itaewon. Drink wine and taste authentic Bulgarian food in hip, upscale atmosphere.
