Apricot Festival in Jeollanam-do. Dubbed as maehwa (apricot), the entire village is engaged in producing and selling apricots and apricot-based food products. In the spring, a forest of apricot trees spanning 100,000 sq. meters on the hillside of Baegun Mountain offers a picturesque scene. Drawing over 500,000 visitors yearning to taste fresh apricots and view the apricot flowers, this is the earliest flower festival of the season throughout the nation. Margarita Night at On the Border in Shinchone.
