New Seoul Eats' Food and Cultural Experiences

The company I work for, O'ngo Food Communications has been doing well, but I would like to branch out a bit to see if I can replicate some of my success for my own company. I am happy to announce some new experiences that I think will become a hit- especially for winter.

If you are looking for a dinner and a show, then I recommend that you join me on my new Food and Theatre Tours. We'll take you to some of the best shows in Korea but before the tour, we'll take you on a food tour with an excellent dinner and then take you to the show. We procure the tickets for you in advance and make sure you get to your show on time.

Hipster Seoul: Hongdae Food and B-boy Tour

Hongdae is in the hip art district on the western side of Seoul and it is known for their trendy styles, awesome street food and their performers. Many aspiring pop stars and b-boys (breakdance boys) got their start at the famous "Free Park" where you can often see musicians, rappers and artists on the weekends. Hongdae is a dynamic area full of bars, restaurants and street food stalls. Our tour will start with a food tasting at some of the best food prices such as for Korean Fried Chicken, Korean Barbecue and we'll even stop at the best coffee place in Seoul before we take you for your show. The food tour starts promptly at 5:30pm at Hongdae Station Exit 9 and we'll then take you to the 8pm show for the B-boy performance of Kung. For the food tour and performance, the cost is 110,000 won (minimum 2 people). If you would like us to get you tickets for the performance the cost will be 55,000 won. Food Tours and Performances on Thursday and Friday. For reservations contact me at seouleats@gmail.com

Myeongdong Food Tour and Nanta Show

Myeongdong is famous for it's great food and shopping. There are so many great make-up, k-pop, clothing, and accessories shops all around the Myeongdong area. Our guides will take you through the side streets to try local favorites such as Grandmother's Spicy Octopus (which is so spicy, you might cry), the best noodle soup in Korea and some popular street food snacks before we take you to your 8pm show of Nanta, Cooking and Drumming Show. It's a great evening and a great meal. Plus our guides will show you the best places for shopping in the area. For the food tour and performance, the cost is 110,000 won (minimum 2 people). If you would like us to get you tickets for the performance the cost will be 55,000 won. Food Tours and Performances on Thursday and Friday. For reservations contact me at seouleats@gmail.com

Taekwondo Experience and Lunch

If you ever wanted to learn Taekwondo from a Master Teacher, this is your chance. Master Ryan has been teaching Taekwondo to students and tourists for over 15 years and he is the teacher at three schools in Seoul. This friendly but tough teacher will meet with you at Mokdong subway station and then take you to his fully equipped Taekwondo studio. You'll first learn basic moves and stretches and later you'll do some sparring. Also, if you ever wanted to break a taekwondo board with your fist, here is your chance. After the 90 minute class, Master Ryan will take you to a local barbecue restaurant where you can have a hearty and delicious lunch. Classes are appropriate for all ages. Families and groups are welcome. Class with lunch costs 60,000 a person (minimum 2ppl) which includes uniform rental, lesson and lunch.
