The Most Hipster Bartender in All of Seoul at Sugar Daddy
Wednesday, July 22, 2015
My friend Andy whom I have known for almost a decade told me he was going into the bar business with celebrity Sam Hammington. I was like pretty cool. July 2015 it opened and I was impressed. It brought many Seoulites from all over including some Korean celebrities. On the 2nd floor is a homey bakeshop serving pies, cakes and cookies. On the roof is their bar and it has a great view of the city. I went with some friends where we had a few brews. They have a good selection. They carry Indica, Hand and Malt and a collection of international bottles. I had the watermelon wheat to start. Not my favorite. Tasted like crappy, sweet watermelonish beer. Gross. Then I had a Hand and Malt and a Guinness. There was a good crowd of people including Jason Kim from mykoreaneats.com, Gemma Wardle of a Fat Girl's Food Guide and James Yu of Facebook fame. It was a good time had by all. They have food there but I didn't have a chance that night. Will be back soon to give them a go.
