Pale Ales and American Pizza @devilsdoor.official great atmosphere but it is reminiscent of old school Korean hofs in neon. Beer is good, not as great as @magpiebrewing or @galmegibrewing or @nomadicbrewingco but it is a different style of beer for a different palatte. Pizza was thin crust and loaded with fresh toppings. Not a huge pizza but it is essentially a beer snack. Oh, no beer snacks like popcorn, nuts or other stuff. Not complaining, just can't believe they could get away with it for the price. Had a glorious Korean Hanwoo Beef experience at the original @woolaeoak in Seoul, Korea. The marbling and flavor of the ribs was transcendent. The kimchi and salad sides were not too salty or sour so they did not outshine the star: beef. Had the bulgogi after which was fine. Finishing the whole meal off with Pyeongyang-style #naengmyeon made it complete. An-gyeong Halmeoni Gopchang is a 30 year restaurant that specializes in beef and pork intestines. Geomson Song is current proprietor and she is one of the toughest, hardest working people I have ever met. She gets in at 8pm and works until 3am. The intestines are prepared in special pots called Hutong. Through dry heat in the hutongs, the intestines are cleaned and the grease is extracted. Sauces are made in house and the gopchang with vegetables is absolutely sublime.
