Vloggers Review Restaurants: Wolfhound and Suji's

Finally, restaurant owners in Korea are starting to understand the power of the internet. Just recently, two restaurants in the Itaewon have invited power video bloggers to do videos on their restaurants. The first is from my good friend Steve Miller of Qi Ranger interviewing Suji Park and orgastically eating a sandwich. The second is Simon and Martina of the quirky, popular blog Eatyourkimch i doing a video on The Wolfhound Pub. I think they both did an excellent job on their videos and they definitely make me feel hungry. Wayne owner of the Wolfhound sent me an e-mail saying that he was surprised about how popular the video had become and Suji's Video has a number of positive comments about the food. Here are their videos. Eat Your Kimchi is Taking Over a Korean Food Website

My buddy Simon from Eat Your Kimchi is the new editor of Korea Taste : a government website run by KTO (Korea Tourism Organization). I've been writing for the site for some time and I think it's the best government run food site in Korea. Simon has an incredible following on Eat Your Kimchi and I think he'll be able to use it to promote Korean food around the world. Here's what Simon had to say: This is Simon from Eat Your Kimchi . I wanted to use this as an opportunity to announce that I’m going to be volunteering as editor for KoreaTaste.org. Over at Eat Your Kimchi we pretty much only make video posts, and don’t really have any writing on there. That’s too bad, because there are lots of things I’d like to write about, but just don’t have the platform for. So I’m going to be here at KoreaTaste.org writing about one of the best parts about Korea: the food! Sure, I’m no expert at food like ZenKimchi or Seoul Eats or Fat Man Seoul , so I can’t offer any expert advic...

Seoul Eats Meets Eatyourkimchi.com and Talktomeinkorea.com

Last Friday I was invited by VANK, an organization that's using the web to promote Korea, to be a speaker at a seminar. At the seminar I talked about Seouleats.com and how the web can effectively used  to promote Korea. At the seminar I got to meet up with Simon and Martina of Eatyourkimchi.com and Hyunwoo of talktomeinkorean.com . I also got to meet some Korean High School Student Bloggers. I met Joon from Seoul is My Place and Anne from Seoulite Anne's Life Capsule . It was a very fun and enlightening day. I'll post more about it later, but...I have to get ready for my radio appearance. You can listen to me on TBS eFM at 2:30 on the Steve Hatherly Show. Dan
