Anybody up for a food find tour on Sunday?
I'm supposed to write a story on searching for summer foods for a story next week. Here's what I have in mind right now: patbingsu, red mango, vinyl for summer cocktails in a bag, kongguksu, fruit smoothies, Korean icecream like tankboy, watermelon, and others...hmmmm...what else do people eat in order to cool down from the heat?
hmmmm...any ideas?

ReplyDeleteI love Patbingsu. :)
ARRGH! I just turned in my summer foods article this morning!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, the best patbingsu I've had so far (I'm sure there are better) was at Sandpresso.
p.s. mul naeng myun and momilguksu come to mind.
ReplyDeletei'm kind of crazy for mul naeng myun. i've been compliling pictures for a while. someday i'll make a big post about what makes good naenmyun.
erm...this sunday?
ReplyDeleteCount me in..:p
I love all those sweet things.
Kongkuksoo isn't my cup of tea though.
I would rather choose samgyetang for summer, very authentic Korean way. :p
you should write something about 'e-yul-chi-yul' for the summer food.
ReplyDeletei bet many people will expect 'icy, cold' food but it'd be an interesting read to have something the exact opposite. ^^*
what time sunday? i may possibly be in a state of disrepair but i'll tentatively put my hand up (camera in other hand :)
