Hi, I’m Daniel Gray. I’m a Korean-American storyteller, tour guide, and food expert who’s passionate about sharing Korea’s rich culture with the world. Over the years, I’ve hosted travelers, curated immersive tours, and appeared on shows like Netflix’s Street Food: Asia – Seoul. My goal is simple: to help you connect deeply with Korea through meaningful experiences, delicious food, and unforgettable stories.
Yeah, I assumed that's what it meant. But since it was in Japanese and Korean, I wasn't sure where this might be (a tourist spot in Turkey? A tourist spot in Korea? A neighborhood in Japan where there are a lot of Koreans?).
I think I might have subconsciously read both the Korean and English at the same time, so the prospect of ice cream flavored with bird meat never crossed my mind.
Of course, I'm one of those people who sees "터키탕" and thinks of a (purported) Turkish bath and not turkey soup.
WORD VERIFICATION: "fooli," which is like foolish + foodie
And where would this be? It sounds intriguing.
ReplyDeleteIs that for real? I thought it was hard to find turkey in Seoul.
ReplyDeleteDid you try it? How did it taste?
this was in busan a year ago or so. I just found it through Flickr. It's Turkish Icecream with Goat's Milk. It's meaning just got lost in translation.

ReplyDeleteWhen I'm in Pusan I'd like to track this down.
It is meant to say:
ReplyDelete"traditional Turkish goat's milk ice cream"
Lost in translation... :)

Whew! Considering the fact you can buy Turkey and Gravy flavored soda in the USA, nothing surprises me anymore.
