Congratulations to Harry Yi of Macaroni Market

Monday, December 14, 2009

Here is the handsome Harry Yi. He was the grand-prize winner at cooking competition at The Amazing Korean Table. The prize? A trip to Paris France to work at Pierre Gagnaire's Restaurant.

You should definitely check out Macaroni Market. The food is exceptional and everything feels high-end, but without the high-end prices.

They make their own bread.

The food is imaginative and it has a fresh taste. Here is a beef carpaccio with mushrooms, parmesan cheese, and basil. The dish is finished with a generous touch of truffle oil. Oh, I love truffle oil. Truffle oil sends me into fits of ecstasy. Yummy.

Here is an anti-pasta dish. It's a brushetta with fresh made tomato sauce and feta cheese. Really delicious.

Close up of the beef carpaccio.

Its on the 2F of the Hannam Building. 02 749-9181
