The salad was quite humdrum. Honey Mustard with Mayo doesn't rock my world. The vegetables were crisp, although...meh...I would get it again with dressing (or a vinaigrette on the side).
The friend I went with- I believe he got- the Nepal Chicken Curry. It was tomatoey and buttery and spicy. I mean it would have gone great over pasta and I guess it was alright on Naan.
The Naan was hot and a bit doughy. It wasn't bad- just not crisp enough for me.
Here's my friend giving his curry the shocker.
Here's the Palak Paneer. This I recommend. The curry is thick enough and it has ample amounts of paneer- although I could always live with more. The really great thing is that they add a bit of an unusual spice. I want to say cardamon, but it might have been anise. I guess I'll have to go back to find out.
Here's the lassi. Very good and since it was included with the meal, great value for money. Oh, and this one did have a bit of anise to it.
The owner is super kind and came over to ask us how we were and they even brought some extra naan for free! Nice.
The interior is bright and clean. It's your typical decor.

ReplyDeleteah, this place is awesome! the owner is SO nice, he always gives us a free lassi or extra naan when we get take out. i like their masala curry.
ReplyDeleteI've only had Nepalese food once, but it was so good. I'll try this place on my next trip to Korea.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I cannot get enough of Nepali/Indian restaurants-- I'll put this in my "Seoul list of restaurants" options. Though I wish Korea would give slightly bigger portions, esp of salad (that dish is so tiny)
ReplyDeleteBut I love that they have Bollywood films playing in the background... which means to me, that they must sell them somewhere in Seoul as well! (I'm a bit Bollywood fan)
