Guy making Dragon Beard Candy on Insadong also Video Contest for 10 magazine

There are so many picturesque things in Korea and I always have my video camera ready to capture something new and exciting. Here is the best (there are many imitators, but this guy is the funniest) dragon beard vendor on Insadong Street.

Check out the fun video. Also, 10 magazine is having a video contest. The top prize is a 3 day 2 night stay to Tokyo.

The information on the contest is below

(Seoul, Korea) CEO Sang-tae Kim and Managing Editor Stephen Revere of 10 Magazine announced today that the magazine will be holding a six-week contest for the best “Korea Awaits!” video made by a foreign resident of Korea. Mr. Kim explained, “Our magazine is about helping foreigners enjoy their time here in Korea, and to that end our magazine’s slogan is ‘Korea Awaits!’ This contest gives entrants an opportunity to show their family and friends what awaits them if they visit them here in Korea.”
Mr. Revere noted that there are three stages to the contest. In Stage 1, which lasts until the end of May, contestants can submit their videos to 10 Magazine, and the videos will be put up for viewing at the magazine’s website 10magazine.asia. All of this will culminate in an awards ceremony and press conference to be held on June 12th, 2010 at Villa Sortino Restaurant in Itaewon, in which prizes will be awarded to each of the top 10 winners. Prizes include tickets to Korean performances such as Nanta and Miso and hotel stays at the Lotte Hotel Busan and the Millennium Hilton Seoul.
