My Superfood Breakfast: Blueberry, Pumpkin, and Soymilk

Superfood Breakfast: Dried Blueberries, Pumpkin Seeds, and Soy Milk I've been eating much healthier since I came back from Nova Scotia. These days, I'm obsessed with Superfoods and I downloaded a great audio book from audible.com called Superfoods: Healthstyle. It's a collection of Superfoods essays and recordings by Dr. Stephen Pratt. I can't say that I agree with everything he says are superfoods (the guy loves canned everything- I'm against canned food), but I find the book is very educational and it helps me make better food choices. My breakfast these days has been a whole wheat cereal topped with dried blueberries, pumpkins, and black bean soymilk. It's a delicious mix of stuff and I don't think I'll tire of it anytime soon. I highly recommend you give it a try. What are you all eating for breakfast?

Rice Cake and Pumpkin Latte and Magic Mushroom Tea

With a friend I went to Yoon Sook-ja's Rice Cake Cafe to enjoy a bit of afternoon tea with some rice cake snacks. Now, this could be because of all the late hours I have been putting in lately, but it also could have had something with the tea. My friend's Pumpkin latte tasted like a Korean pumpkin. It didn't have espresso, so I don't think I would consider it a latte. It was more a steamed milk with pumpkin. I enjoyed it a lot more than the pumpkin spice coffee drinks in the states that have nutmeg and other craziness in it. Oh, and if you have a question on which rice cake to get, I reco...

The World's Most Powerful Pumpkin Launching Cannon

Yeah, you heard me. A family of farmers decided to make a cannon to launch pumpkins. I hope this is going to be entered inttto the World Pumpkin Chunkin' Contest. It's held in my home state of Delaware and I used to go to this thing and just get smashed and watch cannons launching pumpkins down field. Wowowowowow! Oh, how I miss Delaware. I think I'll have to go back just to experience this again. Watch the video! It's amazing. Dan
