Hooters Gangnam




Thursday I went to the new Hooters in Gangnam. It's about a block from Gangnam Station, exit 3. It was a good time. I met my friend Stefan and a bunch of his friends from Ansan. Tim also came out. The beer was watery Cass, which was a bit disappointing. They should have tapped some Miller Lite or the Rockies. I had the buffalo shrimp and the girls were...very service oriented.

They had Miss Hooters International there and a bunch of other American waitresses from all over.

It was fun to see the contrasts between the Korean dancers and the American dancers. The Korean dancers tried to look serious and sexy while the Americans were just teeming with excitement and exhibitionism.

Calories in Soju and other things I Know about Korea's Famous Swill

Just in case you were wondering, one bottle of Soju contains 540 calories. That's like 4 beers. So to put it in perspective, you would need to walk about two hours to exercise it off.
