Hi, I’m Daniel Gray. I’m a Korean-American storyteller, tour guide, and food expert who’s passionate about sharing Korea’s rich culture with the world. Over the years, I’ve hosted travelers, curated immersive tours, and appeared on shows like Netflix’s Street Food: Asia – Seoul. My goal is simple: to help you connect deeply with Korea through meaningful experiences, delicious food, and unforgettable stories.
A quick shoutout: If you're in Seoul, head straight to Tom N Toms Coffee and get the butter toast! It's bound to clog your arteries, but who cares when something so bad can taste so good at 1 in the morning!
OK, that looks really, really good-but forgive my ignorance refarding butter toast-- what is butter toast? I can see the whipped cream but is that toasted cake? Bread? Is there syrup?
Imagine 1/3 a loaf of bread - 2 to 3 inches high - slathered with enough butter and sugary goodness to send a small kid bouncing off the walls, thrown into an oven and topped with caramel, cinnamon, and whipped cream heaven. That is butter toast, done right. :)

Wow that looks incredibly decadent. Toast - glorified. Hmmm. I might have to try this.
