Got Yogurt? Now there is Flo: Self-Serve Yogurt in Apgu

Have you heard of Yogurt town?

In LA, it's the hottest new yogurt concept. Oh, if you've been in Korea for a while, you might not be aware that the Pinkberry and the Red Mango Frozen Yogurt Wars are over.

The winner? Nobody. Why? because Americans got bored with it and moved on to something better. The new rage is self-serve yogurt where you go up and make your own yogurt creation with your choice of toppings. When I was in the states, I stopped into one and it was just jammed packed with people. There was a line out the door and people were just filling their cups with all the different yogurts and toppings.

Now Flo decided to bring this concept to Korea and I am a huge fan.

I ran across this place while I was heading through Apgujeong. It's got a sleek and minimalist like a shiny new iPod and you've got many different types of yogurt and toppings to choose from.

The types of yogurt are:

Choco Brownie
Crema Caffe
Cheese Cake
Coconut
Plain Yogurt
Taro!!!
Strawberry and Banana
Blueberry

Then you have a choice of about 50 toppings to choose from and you just pay by weight. It's 2,800 won for 100 grams. My first run, my cost came to about 5,100 won and it was worth every penny.

Do you think this could be the next big thing in Korea?

I think so. Now I hope they have a 1 price for all you can eat one day, because I'm totally there.
