Hi Dan (or whoever gets this),
I love your site. I just got back from 10 days in Vietnam and fell in love with Vietnamese coffee. I was wondering if you knew of a Vietnamese grocery store/place I could pick up some good Vietnamese coffee/filters/condensed milk. I am not sure I will make it long without the stuff. I dont know if you have written anything about good other-Asian food marts/markets on your site but upon browsing the internet, I didn't find much. Thanks for your time

I think the Pho restaurants serve coffee. There is one in Yongsan Stn.
ReplyDeleteI would be shocked if they had a Vietnamese coffeeshop. the pho shops should know where to get the ingredients too. there are plenty of filter type cups in korea
Coffee - 'trung nguyen' brand at shinchon grand mart, or 'xich lo' vietnamese restaurant between shinchon and ewha on the main drag.
ReplyDeleteCondensed milk- available almost eveywhere, seoul milk brand in the squeeze bottle
Viet coffe filters - xich lo restaurany, 7000 won
