  1. I discovered The Wolfhound Pub this week. My friends recommended that I arrive on Tuesday for the fish and chips. The food and drink were delicious. I went back on Thursday. I wandered upstairs. After grabbing a glass of cider at the bar, I retreated to a well lit table to read and enjoy my pint. There were 4 other patrons in the upstairs bar. A group of about 10 Koreans came in and the bartender asked the English couple in the corner to move so that the Koreans could have their table. The bartender then asked me to move. Before I had even answered he had picked up my lighter and cigarettes and moved them to another table. I argued that there were plenty of empty tables and the one he wanted to move me to had poor lighting. I left without finishing my pint. I understand this kind of thing happens often in Korea but not at a bar in Itaewon that caters to waeguks.

  2. Dear Bohemian --

There was a lack of communication on our part. There was a large reservation on that day and those Koreans were the first of a group of 30+ who had made reservations for the corner table plus three more. We must not have clearly marked that the tables were reserved and our staff did not communicate to you that that group had a prior reservation specifically for all the tables along the wall.

Sorry for the confusion and please have a free meal on me if you choose to return.

I have also copied this in a personal email to you.

    Sincerely,

    Wayne
