A Search for the Best Cheesecake in Seoul

Perhaps you’ve experienced the familiar disappointment one too many times. You see cheesecake on the menu, or at the bakery, and the idea of that velvety deliciousness you know so well plants itself firmly into your brain until you can’t resist. You eagerly order your indulgence… only to push your fork into it’s pastel surface and realize that it’s far more ‘cake’ than ‘cheese’, and again you feel duped. We can empathize. However, do not lose hope completely… it IS possible to find the real thing in Seoul. Nightlife in Korea is exciting and the best place for nightlife is in Hongdae. Whenever I have guests visit me, I take them out to the back side of Hongik University (Walk down from Sangsu Station Exit 2). Here you can find great bars, clubs, and ramen shops . Small Dish: Fish N Chips in Hongdae

I've been enjoying your blog and was looking for a fish & chips place aside from the Irish pub in Itaewon until I stumbled on this post http://www.seouleats.com/2009/ 09/2-for-1-fish-n-chips-again- at-wolfhound.html . We decided to check out Small Dish. I've never been to Wolfhound but the fish & chips at Small Dish were wonderful. Big portion (at least for me) at very reasonable prize. The place is also very small but cozy. To go there get out at Exit 1 Sangsu Station, turn left & walk straight (walk towards Hongdae University not Hapjeong Station, my friend got confused).
