Mahkgulleh (막걸리) fermented rice drink, one kettle was 10,000 won (revision: it was 13,000 won for the first kettle, then 10,000 won after the first) and with each kettle you get three dishes as part of the deal.

IMG_1827
With that kind of deal, this ends up being a hot spot for college kids with little $

  1. I'm impressed you made it to kettle 4! My husband and I only made it to kettle 2. And the 2nd one, we told them to hold the makkeolli :) But then again, this was our 2nd makkeolli alley of the evening...

BTW, when we went, it was up to 15,000 Won per kettle (it was 10,000 Won per kettle when we went 2 years ago)... I guess the price has dropped?

Actually you're right, oops. I'll have to revise the price, it was 13000 won for the first and after that the price drops to 10000won per kettle. Must be the economy, haha. (broken record phrase of 2009). HERE'S TO A WONDERFUL 2010!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!!!!!
