I did have a complaint about their drink policy. Their is a fruitade included in the meal, but I went there and I didn't order one (I got a water instead). My friend wanted to substitute a diet coke for hers. We thought that it would have just been substituted, instead when we got the bill, we found out that we were charged 3,250 won ($3.00) for her drink. If they were going to charge us extra, they should have told us. I think they could have just substituted the drink. I mean the diet coke would cost less than the fruitade.

Did they have Moroccan chicken salad? That's my favorite salad anywhere in a chain in the US. The full size one is enough to fill up two people.
ReplyDeleteI like their side-by-side soup thing, too.
They don't have duck pizza anymore.
Did you complain about the drink thing? You're right that they should have said that, as that's not a typical policy in Western chains in Korea. In fact, it may have even been a mistake.
The fruitade drinks included in set menus cannot be substituted w/ sodas like Coke in most places in Seoul (altho not sure about CPK in particular).... if you think about it, the fruitade costs less b/c it's a drink mixed at the restaurant vs. Diet Coke comes in an individual can.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I actually like CPK in Korea - the food is great (fresh salads, and MUCH better pizzas than most other places in Seoul; I'm from NYC), but the interior is nicer/more upscale.
