Lee Cham, President of KTO on our Night Dining Tour

Night Dining Tour O'ngo Food Communications We got a very special request for a tour last month when the president, the head, the big cheese of KTO, Lee Cham came on our night dining tour. Mr. Lee came with his entourage and joined a group of other hungry and thirsty travelers on our highly ranked Night Dining Tour.   Mr. Cham was a perfect guest and he had infinite knowledge to share with the other guests on the tour. He speaks like a person that truly loves Korea. I learned a lot about his personal story on how he came to Korea and later became a celebrity on Korean TV. Lee Cham at a Makgeolli Bar Lee Cham with Cham Soju Besides his personal life, Mr. Lee is a foodie. Chef's Tour with LSG Skychefs

LSG Sky Chefs in Korea Today has been an excellent day for me and our company. We have had the pleasure of doing cooking classes and culinary tours for the LSG Skychefs. These are the chefs responsible for many of the inflight meals on major airlines such as Delta, Korea Air, Asiana, Northwest, and Lufthensia. They are in Korea for their Culinary Excellence Workshop. They are learning about Korean Food at the source. Hopefully, they will take these influences and incorporate them into their own cuisine. Yesterday we had a cooking class in order to make 20 different dishes with Professor Jia Choi. This morning we went to the fish market to taste most of the sea. This included skate, live octopus, a variety of raw fish, jellyfish salad, king crab, sea worm, and a variety of shellfish. Then we were odd to Hansung Kimchi factory. We saw the whole operation there. We are now off to our famous Night Dining Tour. It has been a great day. Dan LSG Skychefs in Korea LSG Skychefs in ...

Foodie Meet-ups and Cooking Classes

Dear Seoul Eats Readers, Thank you for messaging me and telling me that I need to do a meet-up soon. I'm sorry, but a lot of my time and energy has been going towards the cooking classes and food tours that I have been running on behalf of my company, O'ngo Food Communications. But, I can't forget about all the people who have read and have been supporting what I've been doing. Thank you so much for reading and getting involved. I'm so happy that there is such an epicurious community in Seoul. Our last couple cooking classes for pasta making and for temple cuisine were a big hit and we will be doing them again. Also, in June we'll have a brunch class, a healthy foods class, a beer making class, and a wine tasting class. I'll let you know more details soon. Here is our schedule for our cooking classes and tours can be found on our calendar page here. We have to have a minimum of 4 people to do our classes. Menus can be changed to fit what you would ...
