  I went to this cool club in Itaewon for Kevin's B-day. The drinks were reasonably priced and they had this giant mural of Snoop on the wall-Ghettotastic! 

  It's a Korean Speciality. It's got O-deng- fishcakes with soft dukk-ricecakes and some other vegetables like spring onions, carrots, and onions in a spicy sweet sauce made from 고추장, gochu-jang- a red pepper paste, brown sugar, garlic, soysauce, and sesame oil. I like to put U-dong noodles in mine and sometimes some hotdogs. 

  Even in a city that is over populated and heavily polluted flowers will bloom and Spring will come.

Korean sushi (Kim Bap) Originally uploaded by burlie . Thanks Burlie, I'm going to make kim bap tomorrow. I have to (actually I don't have to)- I want to make kim bap tomorrow, but I'm going to tinker with the recipe a bit. For one, Kate wants tuna kimbap, which I can do. I think I want to make it with gan nip, carrots, spinach, cucumbers and egg. I'll shred the egg and do it like a tamago sushi. It needs some sort of flavor though-like a sauce. I got it. I'll just make the tuna spicy. I'll make a spicy mayo sauce and mix it with the kimbap and add shredded chives. So it will be a spicy tuna kimbap roll. I'm going to make a couple sweet potato rolls with shredded and fried sweet potatoes. Now the rice is going to be vinigared so I need something to make the flavor of the potato come out. I'm thinking orange zest, a little orange zest and chives. For acetics I think I should add some carrots or...spinach? How about this. I'll make i...

I need to get the other 6th grade classes caught up and there is no reason to continue blazing through their textbook. I figure if I do that then I won't have anything to do by May. I want to do Family Feud next week. I'll get the top 5 answers from all the 6th graders in several categories like music, comics, food, language, etc. Favorite Harry Potter Movie, hmmm..I'll have to think of some more cool ones. They have to guess what is the most popular answer. I would have to pick 5 students for each team. I could probably do this twice and it could take 20 minutes or so.

I'm thinking of starting with B,V,P,F's today. I just want him to start mimicing me. I'll keep drilling him on these letters. Second part will be vocab. I'm going to see where his level is. I'll have to take some pictures with me and find out what he knows and what I need to teach him. I'll make sample sentences using the new vocab. I'm thinking a what's missing game. 3rd part I'm thinking I should do some poems from the Light in the Attic or a story book if his mother has one to provide. 4th part, if there is time, I'll finish with an easy Mad Lib.
