Hakatabunkko (하카타코) in Hongdae

Thick and cloudy, the broth gives life to the noodles. They also give you a garlic press so you can put a whole clove of garlic in it. Sure, it's not your traditional shoyu ramen, but it's damn good.

  1. LOL...I share your hatred of random corn sprinkled on food. Were they canned corn? That's even worse..

  2. ha, ichi-rmaen is a ripoff of ICHIRAN ramen in Fukuoka, its very famous. Well, most Koreans wont know it, so they can just take the vibe of the place, but I bet its not the taste!

I eat Hakoya, but Ive never had a true Japanese Ramen in Korea. I lived in Japan for 4 years, I know! hehe

oh well, its not my country

This blog would be a billion times better if there were directions to these places. A google search doesn't always do it.

  4. I recommend Sagaramen in Sinsa near Garusogil. I can't remember what they called it but the first ramen on the menu is very good, closest to Japan's.
