It has affected the tourism industry which has experienced more than 100,000 cancelations and it has hurt local businesses as most people have canceled social excursions. For example the Seoul Grand Park which normal has crowds of 79,000 over a weekend has been only averaging 35,000 (Korea Times: http://www.koreatimes.co.kr/www/news/nation/2015/06/116_179972.html ). With no new cases in the last 2 weeks, life is beginning to return to normalcy. Restaurants, bars and cafes are hoping that they will be able to recover their business. The  Baby Hazel loved it because it was clean, the water was heated and there were lots of fun toys. They put the tube carefully around the neck and it helps her float. Ok, the meal at Taverna de Portugal was one of the best ones I have had in a very long time. Everything was well prepared and I really like the open kitchen since you could see the chef hard at work. One of the best meals I have had in Korea in a long time. Home cooked, authentic and full of flavor. I recommend the Pira Pira Chicken but also everything else is also great. For such a small place, it has quite an extensive menu. If you are looking to get some of the egg tarts though, you have to go early. The restaurant in Seoul is Amazing. Really well designed with a first class salad bar. They even had manchego cheese, a wide selection of olives, tabouli, spears of asparagus along with the regular salad bar offerings. The meat was top class. Especially the lamb, beef, flank, and Parmesan crusted Pork. All great stuff. Next time I go, I plan on a long leisurely meal instead of a fast lunch. Finally a decent rice roll place in Korea. It's a fast casual concept but stylish and good. It has a California flair with lots of avocado and rolls that are well balanced and not just sopped in sauce. Nice cuts as well. I got a great California roll that was big enough for lunch for 7,000 won. I will be back Snow Fox by Gyodae (Seoul National University of Education Line 2 and 3). I went on a date with the wife to Made: a new American bistro where you can customize your meal options and get some craft beer or cocktails to go with it. The atmosphere is bright and industrial with many great lights. I like the wood accents all around. We started off with some Italian croquette balls which where quite good and had little bits of cheese in it. Good but a tad too filling. The second course were some sliders. These I enjoyed. The pork sliders had an Italian herbaceous (actually most of the food has a New York Italian flair). The beef and gravy sliders were very homey and the chicken one was alright. I liked all the sauces with the food which tasted bright, well balanced, and fresh. Their focaccia was good as well. Now I wish I could have stayed for the whole meal but I had a work meeting so I couldn't stay and try the lasagna or chicken and biscuits with gravy. Sigh. Gemma Wardle taunted me with a picture of it. Oh, well it just means I will have to go back soon.

The rice sops up the yolk and the salty and savory pairs well with the rice. If I added some kimchi, it would have been the perfect meal. iPad Pro I have been patient and I have waited a long time for my next productivity laptop. I have used macs for about 11 years now. I purchased my last one about 5 years ago: a 13 inch MacBook Pro. I have debated upgrading to a 15 inch but since it is locked down from upgrading the memory the hard drive and more for more money has prevented me. I like tinkering with it and I like that my MacBooks can be futureproofed for about 4 years. However the new MacBooks don't allow that and while it is a bit faster; they look like typewriters to me.  These days it is all about content production and I feel the iPad pro is the all in one solution. If it is fast enough and large enough that is. It looks like it is fast enough and the large number of apps I have purchased can be put to good use on a bigger machine.  I mean VSCO or enlight is more intuitive to me than photoshop and I have never had a problem with iMovie.
