Uljin Snow Crab Festival. Known as “bamboo crabs,” the Uljin crabs are celebrated throughout Korea for their delicate flavor. The festival will feature crab tasting and exhibitions, as well as, boat races and a yacht parade. This year the Uljin Dae Ge festival will take a stab at breaking the Guinness Book of World Records by making the world’s largest snow crab stuffed Kimbab. www.uljin.go.kr 54-1330.

April 11-13

Busan Spring Festival. The Gwangalli Eobang Festival is the most major spring festival. It starts off with a parade with over 1000 participants wearing traditional costumes as they make their way through the cherry blossom strewn streets to Gwangalli Beach.
