Gochang Raspberry Wine and Food Festival

I got an e-mail from someone doing a meetup for the Gochang Raspberry Wine and Food Festival. It looks like a lot of fun, so you should check it out.

Cheers,

Dan

Dear Seoul Eats,

I am a Korean-American living and working in Seoul. My friend, Rio, and I are trying to give expat and native Korean Seoullites opportunities to conveniently experience various festivals and cultural events throughout Korea. You can find our new meetup group at:http://www.meetup.com/Seoullite-Korean-Festivals-and-Events.

Next weekend (June 10th-12th), the annual Gochang Raspberry Wine and Food Festival is taking place in Gochang City. This festival features 복분자 (raspberry wine), 장어 (eel) and 수박 (water melon). We have organized an all-inclusive overnight trip leaving Saturday morning and returning Sunday morning for the first 80 confirmed guests. Included for 70,000 KRW is round-trip transportation, meals, participation in the festival (various free food samples and drinks are available there), to include an exclusive Nanta performance, an evening all-you-can-eat (and drink!) BBQ party for attendees, and lodging at a civic center nearby. Details can be found on the attached flyer. Below is the schedule of events.

Schedule: 2011.6.11 (Saturday)
09:00 Depart via bus outside Hongik University Station (Line 2), Exit 3
12:00 Arrive at Gochang Festival place

RSVPs can be made by e-mailing me at fcj2004@live.com or through the meetup website. Please include full name of all guests and age as well. A reply will be sent with payment information. Additional details can be found on the link above. I hope you can attend and appreciate any help in getting the word out via your blog or otherwise!
Best,
John
